Why is there a fee on Relief Campaigns?
ROAR823's prayer and fasting coordination is completely free to use—no ads, no paywalls, and no monthly fees.
This platform is being built by faith, with the belief that God will move in the hearts of people to help sustain and grow it over time. The mission is to expand coordinated prayer and fasting efforts across cities, states, and nations.
That vision requires infrastructure, security, support, and the people who help make it all possible.
The fee on Relief Campaigns helps cover those costs—so the platform itself can remain free and accessible to everyone.
Contributions go directly to the campaign beneficiary. Payment processing fees (via Stripe) and the ROAR823 platform fee are applied separately and do not reduce the amount given.
Is My Giving Tax-Deductible?
ROAR823 LLC owns and operates the digital platform, including all technology, infrastructure, and user-facing services. Payments made to ROAR823 LLC:
• Are not tax-deductible
• Are treated as voluntary payments, platform support, or participation-related contributions
• May include platform fees associated with campaign facilitation
Funds received by the LLC are used for:
• Platform development and maintenance
• Operational expenses
• Security, hosting, and infrastructure
• Ongoing product improvements and support
ROAR823 LLC does not represent that funds given to the LLC will be used for charitable purposes.
As for Campaign-Based Contributions:
Certain campaigns on the platform may allow users to contribute funds.
Depending on the campaign structure:
• Funds may be directed to individuals, organizations, or causes
• These contributions are generally considered personal gifts or support payments
They are not tax-deductible unless explicitly stated otherwise
If you are looking to make a tax-deductible charitable gift, you may choose to give through one of our charitable partners when that option is available.

Why ROAR823 Made This Decision
ROAR823 intentionally separated Platform Funding (LLC) from Charitable Giving (Foundation / Relief Efforts)
REASON 1: Operating through the LLC allows ROAR823 to fund:
• Technology development
• Infrastructure
• Engineering
• Design
• Moderation
• Security
• Scaling the platform
These expenses are not always allowable charitable expenses under nonprofit rules.
If every dollar had to go through a nonprofit:
• development spending becomes restricted
• salaries become regulated
• innovation slows dramatically
REASON 2: A startup platform needs:
• Fast iteration
• Product development
• Marketing
• Engineering investment
LLC funding allows ROAR823 to grow like a technology company, not a traditional charity.
This keeps the platform sustainable long-term.
REASON 3: Protecting the Mission You created two different vehicles intentionally:
ROAR823 LLC - Build and operate the prayer platform
ROAR823 Foundation - Charitable impact, relief, ministry partnerships
That separation protects both sides. The platform grows sustainably, while the foundation can focus on ministry and relief.
REASON 4: Legal Clarity Tax-deductible donations must go through a 501(c)(3).
The ROAR823 app donation button is funding the platform, not a charity.
So legally it cannot be labeled tax-deductible.
Being clear about this:
